Company recognized for commitment to recruiting candidates from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds
TROY, Mich. (May 23, 2023) – Kelly has been recognized as a winner of the Global Impact Sourcing Award given by IAOP®. The prestigious award recognizes organizations that have made a significant impact through the practice of impact sourcing, which is the intentional employment of people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Kelly’s commitment to impact sourcing includes partnerships with community organizations to identify and train potential employees from underrepresented communities. It launched its Equity@Work initiative in 2020 to remove systemic barriers to work faced by millions of Americans, including outdated drug screening policies and unnecessary education requirements. Under the Equity@Work umbrella, the company’s Kelly 33 program provides second chances for job seekers with non-violent, non-relevant criminal histories. These and similar initiatives are highlighted in Kelly’s recently released 2022 Corporate Sustainability and ESG Report titled “Growing with Purpose.”
The IAOP judges noted Kelly’s innovative approach to impact sourcing and its clear commitment to making a difference in the lives of its employees and the communities where it operates.
