Since the start of the situation in Eastern Europe, Kelly has worked to protect the safety and well-being of our employees in the region while honoring our commitments to our customers and our people. While Kelly does not operate in Ukraine, we have delivered talent solutions in Russia for more than 25 years.
In May we announced that, based on a review of the environment in Russia and input from stakeholders, including Kelly's board of directors, Kelly decided to actively explore an orderly transition of our Russian operations.
As of today, I can share that Kelly and a leading business process outsourcing company in Russia have agreed to a transaction structure that will result in the full transfer of Kelly’s Russian business upon receipt of regulatory approvals. We will be able to provide additional information once that process has been completed.
As a company, we continue to hope for a peaceful resolution to the difficult and painful situation in Ukraine that has deeply affected so many people across the world.
