Recognition reflects strength in company’s specialties, shift toward tech-enabled delivery model

TROY, Mich. (September 17, 2021) – Kelly®, a global specialty talent solutions provider, today announced that it has been named a Leader in Everest Group’s 2021 U.S. Contingent Workforce (Staffing) Provider PEAK Matrix® Assessment. Of the 31 providers evaluated by Everest Group, Kelly was one of only nine to be recognized in the top category.

“Kelly is one of the few contingent workforce staffing providers in the U.S. that is capable of providing end-to-end workforce solutions to clients,” says Priyanka Mitra, practice director, Everest Group. “Its vision and strategy has ticked all the right boxes in terms of investments in tools and technology, DE&I, learning and upskilling, and output-based staffing services, all of which resulted in its positioning as a Leader on Everest Group's U.S. Contingent Workforce (Staffing) Provider PEAK Matrix Assessment 2021.”

The PEAK Matrix provides an objective, data-driven assessment of U.S. contingent workforce providers based on market impact, vision and capability. Providers are assessed in seven areas: market adoption, portfolio mix, value delivered, scope of services offered, innovation and investments, delivery footprint, and vision and strategy. They are classified as Leaders, Major Contenders or Aspirants.

The Everest Group report noted several areas of strength for Kelly:

  • Kelly exhibits strong contingent talent sourcing expertise across a range of job roles, including office, clerical, industrial, IT, life sciences and engineering—fields in which Kelly ranks among the three largest staffing providers in the U.S., according to Staffing Industry Analysts.
  • Kelly demonstrates considerable integration of technology, data and analytics into its contingent staffing services, which fosters the sourcing of diverse talent and provides deep workforce insights to clients. Building upon this strategic area of focus, Kelly recently unveiled Kelly Helix, a cloud-based talent management portal powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning that provides customers with full visibility and insight into their contingent and third-party workforce.
  • Kelly offers a host of learning and upskilling services, including the Kelly Certification Institute, which provides credentials to science and clinical talent as well as registered apprenticeships for industrial talent; the Kelly Learning Center, which helps talent develop superior knowledge and transferable skills; and myKelly Coach, an AI-powered tool that helps talent prioritize career goals and personalize each step of the job search.
  • Kelly has extensive Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) capabilities in lab management, field services, computer-aided drafting and design services, engineering support, administrative, and manufacturing solutions.

“Everest Group’s recognition of Kelly as a leader in sourcing IT, engineering and life sciences talent is a testament to our relentless drive to become the premier client and candidate destination in these areas,” said Hugo Malan, president of Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom. “Our team of industry experts intimately understands the operating realities of our clients and takes a consultative approach to sourcing specialty talent with the technical skills customers require.”

“Everest Group recognizes that we leverage deep workforce expertise, coupled with our immense U.S. coverage while maintaining local market knowledge, to deliver critical talent and tailored services at scale,” said Tim Dupree, president of Kelly Professional & Industrial. “With our investments in both people and technology, we continue to elevate the client and talent experience to help companies attract and retain highly skilled professionals.”
